This started off as a conversation in the chatroom late last night, so I thought I'd turn it into a topic. What in your opinion are TV's biggest crimes ?

Here are some of ITV's biggest crimes

1. Replacing Jeremy Beadle with Lisa Riley on YBF
2. Failure to bring back the ORIGINAL Krypton Factor
3. Replacing Roy Walker with that half wit on Catchphrase
4. The ITV sitcom
5. Hearsay It's Saturday
6. Failure to Bring back Bullseye to our screens

There are loads more, what do you think are TV's biggest crimes ?

I'm afraid I completely disagree with 1 and 3!!!

Although YBF should just be cancelled, because a better/worse presenter makes no difference to how unentertaining the clips are! When you've seen one pratfall, you've seen them all. The only saving grace is animal clips.

I think TV's biggest crime is ever letting Steve 'ultra-bland' Penk in front of a camera!

The thing is YBF was at the height of it's popularity when Jeremy Beadle presented. It was actually regularly in the TV Top 10 and pulled in big ratings. However, the programme has run it's course now, and is only made worse by the nauseating links in between by Ms Riley.

Catchphrase is a shadow of it's former self.

Why can't ITV see what Heineken and the rest of us have already noticed.

It seems incredible to me that what is apparently the UK's most popular television channel can still get away with passing off a line-up of poor quality home videos of someone falling off a chair as primetime entertainment. It's pathetic! And how it has lasted for over a decade is even more ridiculous.

Well the only reason they stick with it is because it get's the viewers and it keeps the advertisers happy, otherwise it would be gone. We shouldn't blame ITV for that, but Jonnny TV Viewer sat at home watching.
