Following a comment from DAS on the "Lorraine Heggessey" thread, i was inspired as a bit of fun to consider who would win what from this forum with regards to the following categories:
1) Most Stupid Comment Award
2) Least Productive Topic
3) Best Point Put Forward award (DAS is probably already the winner!)
4) Most pointless Thread (don't count this one just yet)
5) Most embarrassing post
6) The "what the hell are they on about" award
7) The Traditionalist of the year award
The award for the person who hates Lorraine Heggessey the most
9) The "Can't hold an argument without getting arsey" award
and finally to the
10) Poster of the Year.

It's fun, it's summer so hey, lets have a laugh while it's thundering!
Get your suggestions flowing. (And please, if you nominate me more than five times do I get a real prize?).

I nominate Showbizguru in the Big Brother thread, mainly for the paint comments. Although granted, he hasn't done them for a while. Possibly (6), but where's 'Annoyance of the Year'? I'd use other words, but I like this place.

Well I think I'm nominated for almost all those categories.

I vote The "Can't hold an argument without getting arsey" award should be biff with them seperate threads about how he needs help and couldn't be bothered to learn.

Here here! Possibly "Most pointless Thread" too, as he's created so many threads which would be fine as replies.

Doubt I'll be nominated for anything being a large non-entity but the poster of the year (thus far) is very much DAS with his delighful withering comments and stealing 'dross' and making it his own.

Yes I agree, love him or hate him, his comments are always his own and create a good board of discussion. cwathen also knows what he's on about so he could be up for the Poster of the Year.
How about tvarksouthwest for the "Traditionalist" award? But then again, there's nowt wrong with a bit of tradition.

Well that has to be any thread asking for the ITV News theme
Surely everyone who reads the info in the request forum knows that it is library music.

Nobody reads that though. Would it make that the pointless thread?
