Yeah, How dare they put their name on the end of a programme they own!?

Well, it's getting more and more annoying as the week goes on. I noticed there were DOGs on 701 as well as 702 last night. When I tried to go straight to 702 as usual tonight, it would only stay on for 5 secs at a time. So, now I have to go from 701 to 702 by pressing red, which leaves me with not only the DOGs, but a (blue???) Press Red icon in the top right! AARRRGH! Still, Thames ident was left at the beginning, wonder if the endcap will still be there (probably not judging by Freemantle's treatment of other old Thames programmes).

Another howler tonight. "Man About The House" was apparently made by Yorkshire Television. "It 'Aint 'Alf Hot Mum" was apparently made by the BBBC. Wonder where they're based?

Ahh the simplicity of freeview - no interactive switching necessary just flick to 701 or 702 as appropriate and wait for the interactive application to catch up then press the relevant coloured button.

Now showing a documentary about Margaret Thatcher on why she wants to become leader of the Conservative Party!

Would it be a colour trade film?
Yup, it didn't say it was an Interlude, just looked like a bunch of Pelican style Birds not doing very much, with music to go in the background.
Edit: It's on again at 10.30pm, colourful music, though the birds are trying to fly, so that's a correction from the original post.
Also another clip of 'Newsday' with Angie Rippon again.

What was that albatross interlude? I had to leave the channel there, so I couldn't see it all. Brilliant episode of The Sweeney though!

And even then you have to see if the Press Red prompt comes up. I tried last night and it just wouldn't appear on BBC One or Two.
Ah, but if the BBC could, they would have those channels hidden away so you'd have to go through the red button.

The slightly annoying thing on NTL is that to access TV On Trial extra is that you can't press red on BBC Four, so you have to go to BBC1 or 2 and press red there!

Thats Life!
Can't help thinking today's Watchdog programme is trying to model itself on this!
