TV Times have now reduced down to an overall 'England Edition' instead of having seperate regions.

This is the first proper TV listings mag to do this. (The soap mags turned tv listings mags, and the new TV Easy also have an England edition)

No doubt done to reduce costs, as TV Times's readership has been falling greatly, being squeezed by the price wars going on in the lower priced listings mag market

I suppose it had to happen eventually, as there is very little variation between regions these days, other than really to list the different regional news names. I really wouldn't be surprised if the Radio Times went a similar way at some point in the future.

I'd doubt that Radio Times would go for an England edition, possibly for the Television section, but for the Radio section, so I can't seeing it happening anytime soon.

Where as for TV Times doesn't surprise me, most of England had the same version, as there was one edition for Yorkshire/Tyne Tees/Granada/Central up until this week.

I doubt Radio Times will go to a full England edition anytime soon, as remember they are the only tv listings mag to ever detail regional variations on the BBC. Such as listing who presents the Politics Show in your region and actually naming the regional news instead of just putting 'Regional News Magazine'

If any listings were to follow in the footsteps of TV Times it would be something like TV Quick

About time TV Times revamped it's listings too - I guess some mags may revamp their digital listings to coincide with the addition of More4 and ITV4.

A point of note - TV Quick and TV Choice now contain the same listings pages, though in different colours. This is a bit of a shame for TV Quick readers as the sarcastic listings style has been watered down somewhat!

Also, is TV Easy still going - haven't been able to get it for weeks. It's not a bad little guide with excellent digital listings. Only thing is that every single cover since launch features EastEnders - do the BBC pay for these or something?

Virtually all the mags have EE on the cover virtually every week - and it's not even considered the top soap, never mind the highlight of the week. With Radio Times and TV Times you generally get a good overview of the years TV from the covers - but with most the others all you get is the latest story around Alfie - "Alfie: Kat or Mo?", "Alfie chooses Mo", "Alfie changes mind", "Alfie changes mind again!". etc.

Speaking of TV Times, is it just Scotland that says ITV instead of ITV1? That always annoys me! Smile

Id noticed TV Quick has the same listings as TV Choice now, its more of less the same magazine just the interviews in TV Quick are in much more detail.

TV Quick and TV Choice often have Coronation Street on the covers recently, im wondering if its because the show has been voted best soap for 2 years in a row. Its Whats on TV that annoyingly almost always has EE - *yawn*
