Does anyone here know how TV studio prices vary between the most prominent locations? I've heard ITV's TLS is quite pricy, but that the BBC's TVC is cheaper. Obviously prices there not based on history then...

You'd think all the more reason for the studios to be offering slightly more generous pricing. Also, what are studios playing host to regular programming every year to do when another client comes along and block books out all their regular client's usual slot? Say Strictly Come Dancing pencelling in Fountain Studios during X Factor's October-December peiod Laughing

People are paid salaries to take care of bookings. How much do you really want to get into it here?

The bigger question is why you find it a laughing matter.

Yes, just like people being paid salaries to make programmes, light shows, direct shows etc. It still gets discussed on a TV forum.
