E4's idents are great which helps alot. Same with Film4.

Although we only see it as an endcap now, and not even on ITV, I'd guess the ITN (outline) logo is probably the oldest currently used on UK TV. Not sure when it replaced the circle one but think it was before C4 launched, and though it has had a few tweaks it is recognisable as the same logo.

Other than that and the corporate BBC logo I'm not sure any UK channel other than C4 is still using a logo that dates from the last century.

The original e4 logo lasted for for 17yrs with hardly any change to it.

It's still a much better logo than the current e4 logo.

The current E4 logo just doesn't work for me although it is clever how Channel 4 have adopted all of their sister brands in to the 4 Logo - I think 4Music and Film 4 are the best out of all of them though.

The ITN logo changed with the introduction of colour television.

From the moment I first saw the E4 logo, I was transported back to 1978

It’s not really the same even as the 1969 logo. Like the C4 logo, it got recoloured, 3d-ed and flattened over the years but the current version (which dates from the mid-2000s) has much thicker letters than previous versions, and is on screen only a few seconds each day anyway.

Australia’s Nine Network has used the familiar 9-dotted logo since 1970, except for a brief period in the mid 00s. WIN and NBN, who were Nine affiliates for many years adopted a similar logo, as did Imparja TV when it became a full-time affiliate.

Same country - how long as the ABC used the zigzaggy steel bars logo for?

You mean the 'lissajous curve' which began in 1963, with it gaining a metallic look and a short-lived design change 2001.

Circa 1963 - similar to ITN, it's been 3D'ed, recolored, flattened, but the shape's remained the same

RTÉ's current logo has been used since 1995 (and still looks good after all these years).

TG4's logo has been in use since the rebranding of the channel from TnaG in 1999.

In France, M6 is still using the logo it launched with in 1987. And in Norway, NRK's logo goes back half a century (though it underwent very minor modifications in 1999).
