Don't forget NBC - they've been a peacock for quite a while

Whilst the NBC logo has been around for several decades, does it fit the criteria? Im only asking. Im not sure what parameters we are talking about. ITs current iteration has only been around since the mid 80s. Just asking....THis might be an interesting thread. Very Happy

No logo goes without being touched up every so often. As long as that original logo/symbol is recognisable as the years pass - that I think counts as a "timeless" logo

Not as long as the others. The ABC and CBS logos are 60 years old, but the current version of the NBC peacock is only from the 80s.

NBC has certainly lasted a long time, though it’s not the same as when they launched, which is what I was getting at...

Indeed. This is what I meant. The fundamental logo not changing, but cosmetic “touch ups” are ok.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Regional branding was ditched in favour of uniformity, the likes of Granada’s G Arrow, Yorkshire’s Chevron and Border’s Chopsticks in a bowl, were all on screen for over 30 years each.

That is timeless in my opinion. As logos they still hold up, just like Channel 4. It’s just a shame that they’re surplus to requirements now.
DE88 and plymouthbloke1974 gave kudos

Ant1 in Greece may qualify with a similar logo over its 30 years on air.

The original e4 logo lasted for for 17yrs with hardly any change to it.

It's still a much better logo than the current e4 logo.

I'm in a minority here, but I think E4's new logo is good (and the rest of the 4 channels), particularly once one looks at the graphics

Agreed and it was very stylish however it’s not current so doesn’t count Laughing

Australia’s Nine Network has used the familiar 9-dotted logo since 1970, except for a brief period in the mid 00s. WIN and NBN, who were Nine affiliates for many years adopted a similar logo, as did Imparja TV when it became a full-time affiliate.
