I wouldn't hold your breath, according to Piers Morgan's book he as asked to step down to save the paper money.

Just read Private Eye's review of his book to see how accurate Piers Moron's account of events and things he said to people really were.
I think VLS also took a prolonged abscence from writing the tv review in the London E'nin Stan'arrd last year - whether that was related or not, I don't know.

Yeah, there are some glaring anomolies about the book, but why Piers would change that scenario and make up VLS's letter to him (in VLS's style) I have no idea.

Besides his Mirror column, and the 1st third of his Evening Standard review are just recycled jokes, so it couldn't have taken up that much time!

Anyway, I wish More4 would repeat the first series of TV Offal in it's entirety - however I think rights and footage clearance may prove very difficult.

Almost impossible I would have thought. It would more than likely have been cleared for a repeat (which is pretty standard), but they've already repeated it once and that had to be revised.

Revelations - late night Granadaland soap about a vicar and his family - funnily enough the set was very familiar to the set used in the last year of Families!!!!!

London Bridge - first series was shwon in Granadaland but then rest of it was just shown in London, until ITV revamped the early evenings

A soap shown on Central during early 1990's and it starred the actor who played Benny Hawkins in Crossroads (although if I remeber correctly the first 2 series were repeated on Channel4)

The Campbells (Scottish Children's Drama in co-operation with Canadian TV)
Dick Turpin
The Ghosts of Motley Hall
Children's Ward (although first few series were repeated on C4)
Press Gang
Wind In The Willows - The Series
Dead Like Me (fantastic dry humourous drama series of last few years - made in Canada and was shown on Sky1)
Sledge Hammer
The New Professionals with Edward Woodward(no wonder!!!)
The Tripods
Starfleet (a "Japanese"??? version of a Gerry Anderson show)
Terrahawks
The Tomorrow People (1990's) (again, no wonder!!!)
Skippy - The Bush Kankaroo
The Secret Valley (a great summer morning programme from the late 1970's)
The Beachcombers (another great summer morning programme from the late 1970's)

What ever happened to Sesame Street???? Is it still being made???

Not seen the Littlest Hobo is years, or The Red Hand Gang or Degrassi Junior High (and I know a new series was made and never shown in UK), The Austrian/German show Heidi (that's a classic!)

Zorro - The Family Channel version!!!!!

Laugh it now, but Albion Market was shown on GSkyB's Granada Plus and Sky Soap a couple of times during the late 1990's.

Even Families was repeated on both stations...

Night and Day Sad

Am I the only one who thinks its odd that this hasnt been repeated since it ended nearly three years ago? True it played out in a graveyard slot with appaling viewing figures on ITV1 but it was a *bad* show in any sense of the word, it just didnt suit an ITV teatime audience. Surely it would be ideal for attracting advertiser friendly teenagers/young adults to someone like Trouble, Living or even ITV2! I have a feeling Night And Day will get at least one re-airing, maybe in a couple of years time when its reputation as a flop wont precede it to as large a degree.

Night and Day is being repeated now unfortunately it's on the Granada Plus style channel in the Middle East called UKTV Granada, notice there are some other programmes on here mentioned in the following link

talking of tv summer shows for kids how about 'why don't you?'

ofter wonder where some of those kids are now, the only one who made it into tv was the girl who played jacqui dixon in brookside

always found 'why dont you a bit of a contradiction'. a tv programme encouraging you not to watch televison, whereas you had to watch it to know what to do instead

I think Ant McPartlin (of "and Dec" fame) might dispute that one...

Bristol, Newcastle, Liverpool. The Newcastle one is famous for having a young Ant McPartlin as one of the presenters

In the later years of WDY? I am sure a couple of series came from Manchester, as well as the other main WDY? studious.

It's about time WDY? came back as a summer replacement for Blue Peter to share the sschedule slots with UKool
