Dream on the BBC hated it, Stewart lee himself says it. The reels are in BBC archives somewhere rotting forever more. I have downloaded and watched them all again recently and in TMWRNJ they even put in jokes about how its never going to be repeated and they hope someone is taping them all for future use. (someone obviously did).

Sounds paranoia to me, it's not the only programme of that type that has disappeared never to be seen again. They have the mighty Avalon on their side if they ever wanted it released. and of course it was L&H that prevented a full release of On The Hour

. Personally I could never see the appeal of Lee & Herring, despite the fact that I was a target student audience when they were on TV

Harry Hill's TV Burp (Repeats of older series)

There's no way they could repeat HHTVB - the clips would have been cleared for use under 'fair use' and promotional terms. Using them at a later date would be horrendously expensive, not that any of the programme would make sense anyway

Its when they try and remake shows the SHOULDN'T ever see the light of day again that annoy me.

The first four episodes were released on DVD recently.

And those poor contestants who never got to see themselves on it. Hope ITV sent them a video.

Don't forget Judgement Day!

I'm adding Cult Toons to the list. Brilliant, hilarious programme that ran on Cartoon Network in 1999 - basically, it took an old Hanna-Barbera cartoon and reedited it to the point of insanity.

TV Offal

VLS left writing his Saturday column in the Mirror a couple of years ago to work on series two of that show.
Hopefully we may see it at some point this year.

I wouldn't hold your breath, according to Piers Morgan's book he as asked to step down to save the paper money.

Just read Private Eye's review of his book to see how accurate Piers Moron's account of events and things he said to people really were.
I think VLS also took a prolonged abscence from writing the tv review in the London E'nin Stan'arrd last year - whether that was related or not, I don't know.

Anyway, I wish More4 would repeat the first series of TV Offal in it's entirety - however I think rights and footage clearance may prove very difficult.

But Now I must stop as Victor....may sue Wink

eldorodo flopped because they had people speaking spanish without translations on the screen, and the sets echoed, there was lots of reasons, like nobody watching it.

apparently the old set is now a tourist attraction

how about eldorado's replacement, the even shorter lived castles (about the castle family)

UTV have repeated old episodes of Harry Hill's TV Burp on numerous occasions.

I am right wing Shocked (Well 'right of' centre) and I have never been a student either but I liked their brand of humour very much, but then again I am actully an atheist aswell so there was a personal connection to alot of their jokes there I guess.
