Tiswas, for started there not a lot of those episodes in achieve as it was a live show, thus not many were recorded, I think there about 30.

I still think Another itv sitcom: Mind your Language should also get an airing,

Archive. Not achieve. Archive..

I've been wanting to tell him that as well Confused

arc hive Wink

I remember a programme called wilderness road or something, that only had one series, can't remember who was in it but it featured a pub

I take it on broad, the blasted Spell checker on the blink again

I wish the BBC would show the whole of that Bob Monkhouse last ever concert in front of fellow comics. Looked good and has never been shown. Here's some more that have very rarely been repeated or never at all!

Selwyn Froggit
Dear Ladies (Hinge and Bracket)
Kelly Montieth (BBC show, was it good I can't remember)
The Pall Bearer's Review (never been repeated on anything BBC2 controversial Jerry Sadowitz show)
Filthy, Rich and Catflap (underated Young Ones follow on)
Seven of One (Ronnie Barker pilot of Porridge and Open all Hours etc)
Hot Metal (one of ITV's really good sitcoms)
Peter Cook and Company
Rude Health
End of Part One
Hancock (hasn't been shown for ages)
You Bet Your Life (US Groucho Marx show)
Jack Benny Show
The Honeymooners
Please Sir
Till Death do us part
The Fenn Street Gang (sequel to Please Sir)
Tiswas

A few of these have been repeated, Seven of One was on GOLD last year - blink and you'd have missed it though! Filthy Rich gets an airing on Dave every so often. A lot of the old Granada Plus staples you listed like Please Sir etc didn't make the jump to ITV3.

The whole of Brasseye was repeated a few years ago when they made the new episode. Not sure if any of it had to be cut. I'd guess the subliminal message to Michael Grade wasn't included in the repeats.

No it wasn't, but the sketch about Peter Sutcliffe was put back in, having been edited out of the original transmission.

I think some of these are out of copyright and so turn up quite regularly on channels that show out of copyright stuff. I think the same episodes are also available on YouTube.

What I'd love to see repeated is "Oh! Doctor Beaching!" and the thing about a switchboard operator starring Leticia Dean!

Tiswas

Things like Tiswas would never be repeated in, even if they existed in full. I have a full episode somewhere and it's not all as good as it's legend suggests! The best bits of what is left of Tiswas were compiled into a video release and they of course appear on clips shows.

The Hello Girls has been repeated on UK Gold at some point. Also Mind Your Language was aired on Granada Plus a few years before it closed down.

Did that other show featuring Letita Dean, 'Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married' ever get a complete run anywhere?

ITV kept dropping it & restarting it in different timeslots ISTR.
