TV Newsrooms

You know, perhaps Asa should set up a chatroom!
There is another TV ident chatroom but it is rarely busy.
I was taking a tour of it. CNN and ITN have very close ties you know.

Yes they scared me to death, like sort of giant..um... things.

I like the ITN building and better use of it should be made in the bulletins, you can see it on ITN News Channel and Channel 4. Used to see the outside when C5 came back from a break on 5 News. In my opinion the sets for ITV & Channel 5 are awful, bring back the in the newsroom style look, like a lot of the american networks, and dare I say it News 24.

Yes, especially Channel 5 News! And HOW DARE YOU MENTION THAT GODFORESAKEN CHANNEL.

I actually LIKE 5 News. It is down to the point, and doesn't worry about genre looks. It is however, going to have a new look.
I like the way they stand up for news. It is polite and fresh. (It's actually probably they can't afford a desk!)
Talking of prices, does anyone know the overall price of a studio including the cameras, and AIR TIME. It would be interesting to know.

Channel5 caused a revolution in news in the UK when it launched.
And it is actually very interesting to watch, less matter of fact than the 6 o'clock news, and less staid like Channel 4 News, I like the idea behind the 'Facts' section as well, everyone critisises Channel 5 News without ever actually sitting down and watching it, they think because it is channel 5 it is bad, and to be honest that really isn't the case.
