For the last time -it's not called the crosspool transmitter. It's the Sheffield transmitter. Never mind what that Mike whatshisname says, I've lived in Crosspool all my life, and I know this transmitter inside out. Crosspool is a quiet suburbian area which I dearly love, and I think that it's wrong for Crosspool to be talkled about on the world wide web. Please - no more mention of it!
Might I point out that it's you who seems to feel the need to stubbornly argue and prolong this (pretty trivial) debate despite the fact that there is plenty of evidence that the TX is known (officially or otherwise) as Crosspool.

I don't mean to sound stubborn - I apologise if that's how I do sound. But It's called the Sheffield Transmitter and I won't rest until you accept that. The word "Crosspool" relates to its situation in Sheffield - the highest point in the city. It has nothing to do with the transmitter's proper title.
I accept that Sheffield is one of the names of the transmitter, however I'm not going to be so petty as to insist that you agree that it is also known as Crosspool
