Okay, this might sound scarely like something out of a consumer-advice programme, but at least it'll help me decide which TV guide to go for this xmas, as I'm also a huge fanatic in collecting old listings guides etc. Thx!

Although I don't buy Radio Times every week I buy it every Christmas, it's the more traditional Christmas listings guide and I love the layout!
This being the first Christmas I will have had Sky, I personally think I'll end up using the EPG and/or BBC Text / Digiguide online to look everything up.
Best thing about the EPG is you can very quickly browse through the listings and stick reminders next to the things you want to watch AND it tells you straight away if programmes clash.
I'll carry on using DigiGuide, so I can electronically plan my viewing/recording & print them out. Circling programmes in a magazine doesn't really work for me
We'll be getting Whats on TV as every week, and the I'll be personally getting the Radio Times as an extra.

I'd choose RT, as I've done so every year since '96! Bit pricy tho, so my friend buys them for me! It's detailed, colourful and of course, as you say, good layout! It's a shame all this can't be reflected on their website!
For those now relying on EPGs, you'll be missing out this year's design, thus breaking tradition...

Got to be the Radio Times. I don't normally buy a TV Guide (usually get the listings from Teletext) but at Xmas, it's a must!
