The death has been announced of Scottish actor Campbell Morrison, best known as Drew Lockhead in Eldorado and also the voice of the show's pre-launch promos:
As sad as it is when someone like this dies, especially relatively young - do we really need a thread like this for someone, and I mean no offence, pretty unremarkable?
This is meant to be a presentation forum not an obituary.
As said as it is when someone like this dies, especially relatively young - do we really need a thread like this for someone, and I mean no offence, pretty unremarkable?

It's becoming more and more useful these days unfortunately
Are more people dying than used to then?
Yes.
And no.
The population of the UK is ever increasing, so assuming people die at the same rate, then you have more total deaths per year. However people are also living longer than they used to... Also our population is varying because of migration between countries taking place more than previously, with more older people moving abroad to retire and younger people moving here to work etc.
Either way, unless they're dying on TV it's not really a matter for this forum.
As I said in the Beadle thread, the way the death of even an unknown Scottish actor is being turned by some into a media event is absolutely despicable.
There really is absolutely nothing to discuss here - though if you like we could fill some time with some Sky News mindless speculation about how he might have died and whether it all means he abducted Madeline McGann!
