Happy New Year to one and all on TV Forum - members, mods, guests etc.

Hope you all have a good New Years' Eve and hope that 2009 is a lot better than 2008, and for all those who lost their jobs in 2008, good luck for the New Year... they'll be light at the end of that there tunnel!

Hide the paracetamol and razor blades. Tighten your belts and be frugal. 2009 is apparently going to be a lean depressive year. Oh and don't read the papers or watch the news 'cos that will put you on even more of downer.
Regardless of all that I do wish you all a good new year. Party like its 1999. So Malpass pass the jelly and icecream and then we can have a game of pass the parcel.

On a television presentation related note - I notice that the Big Ben camera in the Live webcams section of ITV Local has recently been zoomed in so it is trained on one of the faces of the clock tower!

Am I right in thinking therefore, that this is an ITN camera which is normally used for the Westminster backdrop when interviewing in Westminster studios?
