Whilst I appreciate the Worzels and the tellyboxPLUS types will screw up their noses I feel it is my duty to report the sad death of TV Forum Favourite Jack La Lanne. He was 96.

La Laine entertained many a TV Forumer back in the days of the chatroom, The Red Lounge and the Iraq War with his infomercial for the juicer that could juice A WHO-OLE APPLE??!!?!

In between bouts of Peter Simon selling the gem stone globe and Angie Rippon's amazing coverage of the Iraq War and the Turrrur level we, the original members, enjoyed Jack's endless jucing with his wife.

Therefore I feel it is only right that we pay tribute to his patented extraction technology by watching that video again.

I remember this infomercial from the days of when I first got digital cable, watching Best Direct to see what these new channels offered. (trash, it turns out)

RIP.

I remember when the sit-up channels would have his products on replay during their downtime.

It's worth noting that Metropol has been redecorated with reference to Jack's memory.

I feel we should all arrange a moment to raise a glass to Vitality in his honour. What time did the infomercials used to go out on Bid Up?
