What is ITV's font (used on the ITV logo) I know Meridian's is Timeless TLig - is it?

Windows' 'Lucinda Console' is the most likely match for the ITV logo, with the gap in the letter T.

'Arial Alternative' (arialalt.ttf) on the Windows CD Rom is a slightly closer match - it has the slope on the top of the 't'.

How do they come up with these stupid obscure names for fonts!?
BB
BBC Choice
Well the names are obscure and perculiar, but they can't really be called 'Curvy one with pointy bits on the 'I's and 't's' or 'straight one without lumps anywhere'.

I think they're the traditional type-press names which have been vectorised into computer fonts

How do you find out what the exact font is called? do you e-mail them and ask or what?
Also has any one got a page where you can download the fonts used on tv?
