It has to be, by far the Emmerdale Plane Crash of December 1993. It cost £1 million for goodness sake and it was truly spactacular, dramatic and thrilling. I know soaps have all had their explosions, but when it comes to fireballs landing all over the village, people being covered in aviation fuel and a plane wing knocking a car off the road, nothing comes closer. It's amazing how they managed to film the refelection of the Plane on Frank Tate's Land Rover Discovery.

As already said above, the Delboy and Rodney Batman scene is epic. I don't think i've ever laughed so hard in my entire life. Was watching it with other people when it was first shown Christmas 1996. We were in fits for about 2 minutes. It was hard breathing! Laughing

The Countdown out-take when one of the country's finest warm-up artists grabbed Carol Vorderman's hand from behind the set when she reached to get a consonant, and made her jump ten feet in the air.

A classic.

Why the guy who did that still hasn't got his own prime-time ITV1 series on a Saturday night, defies belief..... Wink
