With the temperatures in the UK reaching as high as 39°C I thought I would do a bandscan on my Freeview box

Here's what I got so far. https://up.metropol247.co.uk/Curto32/IMG_1785.jpg

Don't know why it says that but the transmitters are from Denmark: https://up.metropol247.co.uk/Curto32/IMG_1794.jpg

Here on Merseyside I can currently get BBC Yorks to appear on Freeview, but only on the EPG and with no sound or vision.

I can get the Liverpool News on Cardiff TV. Nothing new there though.

There is likely to be less and less DX TV available, as the Europewide 700MHz clearance continues. There are fewer UHF slots available, but the same number of transmitters, so more co channel sharing at sites closer together. Those Danish muxes above Ch 48 will be moving soon.

What this does mean however, is more loss of service during high pressure conditions because of the increased sharing. Another gentle tap of a nail in DTT's coffin

I did a scan in London and absolutely nothing. Whereabouts on the EPG would these DX channels usually appear?

You'd expect to find them (on UK/Freeview receivers) in the scratch-pad area from 800 upwards
