It was a lot better in the analogue days before the digital muxes knocked out reception from Hannington and Sudbury from my area. So I only get London signals from Crystal Palace now and FM is useless due to pirate radio clogging up the band. Only DAB tropo I've had is the Oxfordshire mux which wasn't today.
I'm in a valley, so reception from the west of London is better than from the south and South East. If I go up on the hill, Bluebell Hill reception is possible, so people a mile down the road can get BBC SE/ITV Meridian, plus DAB from Kent, Essex and Herts, Beds and Bucks in addition to Surrey DAB which broadcasts from Crystal Palace.

How often does TV Dxing happen in the London Region? There was a good footprint covering the London region with a marginal reception this morning from 6am according to the radar posted a few pages back. I re-scanned about 7.15 this morning but got nothing.
