RTE merges RTE Junior into RTE2, with children's programmes continuing until 7pm on RTE2.

This is how it used to be so I doubt RTÉ will go back to that so soon after changing it, especially as they are trying to get all kids programming off RTÉ 2 altogether.

BBC will do a Co-production deal with Netflix with some of their big shows or new dramas. (would love Netflix to get the production of Doctor Who)

Do Netflix actually produce that much in-house? I thought they commissioned from others for their productions (The Crown is made by Left Bank Pictures for instance)

If Netflix co-produced Doctor Who with the BBC the chances are they would continue with BBC Studios (the BBC's equivalent of an in-house indie) producing it, just as Amazon co-produced Good Omens with the BBC, with BBC Studios producing it.

Ditto HBO and Sky - they commissioned Chernobyl from Sister Pictures (with Jane Featherstone ex-of Kudos and Shine UK)

I'm honestly not sure. I wouldn't mind if the BBC even gave Doctor Who to Bad Wolf Productions, it's owned by Jane Tranter (Former head of drama at BBC One) and Julie Gardiner (Former Doctor Who Exec Producer) with a decent writer I think they could bring it back to the popualarity of the Tennant era.

VICE NEWS TONIGHT arrives on VICE's UK channel.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but VICE News Tonight was cancelled back in September.

Only on HBO. It's due to relaunch on VICELAND, hence why I think it might arrive on the UK channel.

I thought the UK channel had gone as well and it is now on demand only, via All4 I think.

Viceland is no more. The US version was renamed to Vice TV a couple of weeks ago, and the UK version rebranded to Vice on TV last year.

The UK channel is still available on Virgin Media channel 219. Don't know about Sky though. And Vice News Tonight is due to relaunch on the renamed Viceland now Vice TV early next year. Again, this is why I think it will come to the UK version as well.

Considering the recent closure of the RTE digital radio stations, including the radio version of RTE Junior, I don't think the TV version has a future either. They may have been looking to shift children's programmes off RTE2, but honestly, I think they'll have to backtrack on that just because they just don't have the money right now to reasonably sustain a separate children's channel. With RTE News Now being literally not much more than just showing the RTE News programming on a single channel, that they already show on both RTE1 and RTE2, I don't see that closing yet, but RTE Junior is, I think, for the chop.

Vice is still on Sky and I would imagine the new orders of Vice News Tonight, Vice (moving to Showtime) and the Hulu show Vice Investigates will all end up on Vice UK in due course... it appears they retain their international rights for their various channels across the globe so imagine it will be business as usual.

Can't seen Sky giving up a cash cow like that.
