South Today Oxford becomes the second sub-opt to get a full time 1830 bulletin after Look East West in 2019.

Not sure whether you're being serious or tongue-in-cheek?

Some years ago there was a full Oxford 1830 edition every Friday, which tended to scrape-the-bottom-of-the-barrel for content so eventually was (sensibly) pared back to just a partial opt like on Mon - Thurs.

Now they very occasionally have the odd full 1830 Oxford edition if there's a sufficiently major story in the Oxon/Bucks/Swindon sub-region.

There definitely isn't enough news in the area for that, as there are a lot of rural areas and Oxford city isn't that big compared to many others. It isn't a big/important enough area to warrant a full programme of its own.
(Despite the current BBC South and Meridian regions being far too big and diverse to be relevant to most viewers most of the time!)

Bring back the itv mid morning national and regional news?

Actually with an extra 30 minutes to fill on This Morning was wondering if that might be considered.

I am hoping they use the time for more newsy 'items', rather than silly light hearted throwaway ones. However, although Eamonn and Ruth are great at news, Phillip and Holly excel at silly... so it's more than likely that it'll just be extra make-up tips or competition adverts, etc.
Or they could give extra time to the daily phone-ins, so they get to hear from more than just 2 callers...

And, perhaps a ITV Network Rebrand (especially for channels like ITV3 and ITV4) to bring it into line with the main channel’s presentation.

Wasn't there a thread like this a year ago? If so maybe it should be dredged up for comparison?

Not much correct, except for:

Kernow: Rebrand of some or all of the former CSC music channels, following their recent sale to Trace

London Lite: Indeed, I'll eat my hat if one of those channels doesn't become Trace Urban.
