Any news on MTV Rocks returning next month? According to the Sky EPG, there's a programme called "Music Sounds Better With VH1" starting at 6am then followed by every number one of the 80s on Thursday, every number one of the 90s on Friday, every number one of the 00s on Saturday and every number one of the 10s so far on Sunday. So I'm guessing that it could be replaced by a new channel called VH1 Music.

If so, this makes Kerrang! the only rock music channel left.

It looks as though MTV Rocks programming returns on Friday 4th January according to the Virgin EPG, with a programme at 6am called ‘MTV Rocks is back!’

Ah, I see. Sky's EPG is only a 7 day one cause it only goes up to next Monday.

I wonder if we will see any channels close due to a lack of broadcasting licence after Brexit.

If that happens, then I think Channel 5 would be in a bit of bother as they are owned by vicom. For that reason they would be absorbed into ITV or even SKY who will use 5 as free pass for all SKY one or secondary sports material. SKY could pick up many more channels

Rubbish, they will have UK broadcasting licences so they'll be fine.

Oneness to be dropped for seasonal promotions like they do at Christmas which start at summer, which have accompanying idents to go with them and the return of trailer stings as a reaction to ITV. More idents mixed in with adverts on Channel 5 and 4, with an ident refresh on Channel 4 telling the next part of the story following the story of the Iron Giant, or failing that more iron giant idents or new characters to accompany the giant based on the blocks. To boot more BBC 2 curve idents but people start to tire of the curves already and people start complaining about them and even wish they had the 2 back

My predictions : Very Happy
• The ITV(1) refresh will be abandoned by the end of January 2021, but declared a 'success'
• 'Onemess' will continue to torment us for at least another year
• Sky/Comcast will begin closing SD channels
• Sky/Comcast will close all their Cinema channels
• All 376 viewers of the launch week of 'BBC Scotland' will be exposed as TVF members or BBC employees
• The BBC/Discovery cannibalisation of UKTV will not end well
• C4 will finally put +1HD and 47HD on Sky
• Yet another channel will rebrand their pres using Art College video footage from a mobile phone, and declare it as "an intuitive representation of identity, portraying real life situations", and other such meaningless drivel
• The co-ordinates of the TVS Archive will be discovered in a safe deposit box later revealed to belong to Brekkie

BBC regional newsrooms with the white and red sets (like Points West) get a makeover. Those sets have been around for a decade now.

It's certainly not 10 years since Points West got a new set. However, aren't they all designed to be able to switch colours/themes rather easily. A new look (other than white/red) for BBC News would only require the changing of the front of the light boxes with the newsroom views.
