My Predictions
CITV to make a new saturday morning show to rival Saturday Mash up on BBC.
ITV to bring back In Vision Announcers after seeing what UTV have done.
BBC to finally get rid of Oneness and replace them with the balloon idents until the new year.
Sky One and Sky Sports Mix to go free to air as it's really now a channel that previews what on the other channels.
TV Fourm to have a new logo.
Very Non Realistic predictions but it might just happen.

I mean.
1 in 10 thought of tuning to 'ITV1' first when watching TV
1 in 2 thought of tuning to BBC One first when watching TV.
ITV rebrand was needed.
My predictions:
ITV becomes ITV1.
Channel 5HD will fix their epg listing and put a space between the 5 and HD again.

Sony Channel's ratings are poor, because they are only on Sky. They run scrambled, but Free To View, for Sky subscribers, meaning that the channel can't be on Freesat, nor available to be picked up on non-Freesat equipment. Sony Channel isn't on Cable or Freeview either, so unless they can get out of whatever deal they have with Sky that keeps them sky exclusive, their ratings aren't going anywhere.
What a load of rubbish.
Sony Channel is available to viewers on every major pay TV platform in the UK:
Sky, Virgin Media, BT, TalkTalk and TV Player
Could Sony launch Sony Channel on Freeview as they have launched Sony Movie Channel?(they are willing to use 'Sony' brand for a free channel) It's like a poor Freeview channel as it is. For a 'Sony' branded channel it's very poor and it's ratings are extremely poor also. Maybe Sony Channel could replace TruTV on Freeview then move AGT over to Sony Channel?
Will Eden remain as only an SD channel in the future or could they close it entirely?

You have to have a Sky subscription of some kind to view it. It is not FTA.
I think he means you have to subscribe to it on Sky to get it, I thought it was FTA myself but I will go and have a look now.

FTV on Sky (no sub, but requires viewing card). All other platforms have the channel as part of a subscription.

ITV Encore to close
We already know this is going to happen so it's not a prediction.
I predict
Paramount won't launche and 5Prime will turn out to be the same project.
Another funding crisis at Community Channel
Premier Sports becomes FTA or closes with content moving to FreeSports
Ofcom allows local channels to drop local news commitments essentially forming quasi-national networks and closure of local studios.
Isn't Community Channel rebranding as Together TV in the new year. Is this just a name change I wonder or a proper rebrand?

Please! It looks horrific currently.
Not channel related as such but BBC Look East (East and West) to finally get new sets to mark their 60th anniversary.
