I'm expecting a cheque through from TradeDoubler for money earned through my website and I'm wondering whether or not to spend it on a TV Capture card?

And when you do buy it - READ the handy little book that comes with it, and don't litter the forum with requests like 'How do make it work??'
I'm not purposely being patronising, but people in the past have done it and myself and others get a bit fed-up of being parrots!
Trust me, I will - I like to do it that way!! And if I do get stuck I'll consult in you if I need you James... (not!! only joking!)... :

Its the best thing I've bought for my computer (next to my digital camera) yet.
Its well worth it and then you don't have to rely on other people capturing stuff for you and you can do it in your own way.
Also you can watch TV whilst you work, which I find very useful!
Yeh! 2 good points there... It'd be great to watch telly while on the computer... yay!!
Thanks,
Joe

Ok, I was wondering if I should by a TV capture card myself. Here are the specs of my 'pathetic' machine:
Pentium 200MMX
64MB RAM
8.5 Gb of HD space available
Don't laugh if you have a faster machine. : This one works fine for me, thank you very much!

Hi Folks
Yes, i have just got one (Hauppauge WinTV PCI) and it's wonderful!!!
I must say that it's extremely distracting having live TV on the computer - don't expect to get anything much else done while it's on - an interesting psychological effect, that.
If you're choosing an internal TV card (rather than a USB plug-in) you'll need to check its system requirements, because there might be issues with the computer's video display, motherboard chip-set etc.
Go for it! And get a couple of 60Gb hard disks to store all the captures on too...
