Why was [.tv] taken off air, on Sky Digi channel 567? Can someone tell me?

Sky were loosing money running it. so its closed

In two words: no viewers. [.tv] had some good shows but Sky didn't want to keep such a minority interest going when they could be using the frequencies for something more cash-cow.
