Re "Big Arm", it looks like that they arn't there, but I wonder were they actually there live with Terry and guests in the first few shows?

Last night's show was amusing, Terry's main rant being targetted at Matthew Wright. John Robb and Ana Boulter were guests

Still a big fan of Turn On Terry but cant watch it on a Thursday Night anymore because its just on Too late and frankly I'm always late on a Friday Morning anyway so don't need to fuel the fire anymore and be even more late by staying up until twenty past one or so. For me, at the end of Aug when it was on at 12:00, that was just a nice time for me, but anyway moving on to why I'm adding a post to this topic.

Like I say, as I don’t watch it on a Thursday night anymore, I tape the Saturday Repeat each week and then watch it sometime on a Sunday. I have just watched the above episode Andrew has just been talking about, and at the end I always look at the credits while humming the catchy tune and this week I noticed something on the credits I have never seen before.

It's on the third credit slide, so after Presented by Terry, Guests - Ana, John etc. Then the next one was

What??? So what do they mean by Turn on Terry TV Forum?? Here?? This Topic on this Forum, or am I thinking too deep? There’s not a Turn on Terry Forum elsewhere is there?? So do the makers of the show read this thread and the comments? If so, than that’s great. Its good to know those lovely people at that great show bother to read what we say.

Has anyone else noticed this on the credits before or is it just this week? Do people think it’s this Forum’s contributors they are giving thanks to or is it somewhere else??

I think I've seen the TV Forum mentioned before too! I'm sure the band must be there - why wouldn't they be? Maybe terry should talk to them or something.

Yes I've noticed this 'Turn on Terry TV Forum' mention in the credits before, not sure if it's us!

Re Big Arm, well the same people seem to dance in front of them every few weeks, so I think they were there once but not anymore

Talking about the show's time slot, the first four weeks back in June/July were at 00:00, then the next seven shows throughout the summer were on at 00:30, the first week in September it moved back to 00:00 for one week only, before moving to 00:50 for 2 weeks then 01:15, 00:55 and then the very late 01:50, then from the middle of October its fluctuated between 00:30 and 00:55. The next two weeks from tonights its on at 01:20 though!

This show is going out later and later every week. Given it's cult status, it should go out straight after Harry Hill !!!!

I loved how on tonight's Alison Hammond said something about Jim McDonald on corrie is to escape from prison, then to say she didn't think she was supposed to say that, but we dont have viewers anyway.

Indeed and this week, Anthony H Wilson went off on one many times about Busted and his former music industry past.

Tony was joined by John Robb.

I believe there's only three shows left now in the series.

Turn on Terry was then followed by a very bizzare series Dare to Believe.

Hi,

Thanks to all of you for watching the show and making it a success. We just have two episodes left to record including the Christmas show and we will be filming both on MONDAY 15th December at 4pm. The filming will take approximately 2-3 hours.

If you would like tickets for the final show then contact Wesley on wesley.wright@turnontv.co.uk and he'll make sure you get them.

Also, as it's the last show we are considering auctioning off scripts from the series so we'd appreciate your feedback on that.

We also intend to auction off the entire set of Turn On Terry including Terry's famous chair, the sofa, rug, tables, mini tv's and TV. Let us know what you think of the idea and whether you'd want your own TOTV set in your living room

Thanks again and we look forward to hearing your views!

Dominic

Now that we're back on the proper thread. Terry, myself and therest of TurnonTV would appreciate your opinions!

Yeah, now we are on the proper thread - could you tell us why it seems that the programme isn't being recommissioned? I was under the impression it was doing quite well in its late night slot.

Shame both are being recorded on the same day. I would have liked to gone down and seen the final episode but 4pm! I would never get there.....and most of my friends would still be at work. I would have been great to have gone and meet (Or at least see Tony Wilson, Terry and co!)

As for auctioning off the stuff, well that’s nice. Is the money raised going to be for 'Turn on TV' to make shows with or is the money for charity or something else??

Why is there not going to be a new series???? I really would love there to be.

Well anyway, it was a great show while it was on.

I think we should all get tickets and go and see the programme - our very own TV Forum meet and something to do at the same time.

So this confirms that the "Thanks to Turn on Terry TV Forum" in the end credits was aimed at us then.

The christmas episode isn't being shown until the 30th December so it looks like it'll be one of those jobs where Terry and co pretend that xmas has already been and gone!.

Also as has been said, as the show has been successful I would have hoped for a second series. I bet it would have been more successful if the ITV schedulers hadn't moved it later and later during the run

There will be a break inbetween recording show 1 & 2 so if you came down at 5:30 then you could be there for the Christmas show. We have to change the set inbetween shows to apply the TV magic and make it look like Christmas!!!

Just to answer a previous question: the band are prerecorded.
