Indeedy. I liked how Terry was desperately trying to drum up custom to be in the studio audience for next week...
It seemed as if the discussions they were having were slightly more in depth (well, sort of) - they didn't cover quite as much, which was a good thing. And they all seemed to be enjoying themselves, which makes it better too.
And Big Arm were back to providing a bit more music, but Terry didn't acknowledge them at all! The lead vocalist is Paul Ryder, ex of the Happy Mondays, isn't it?

Yes they did, we'll have to see what this week's is like. Also I wonder how long this series is, it's been on weeks!
I think Terry's visceral rant about Claudia Winkleman last night took everyone by surprise... and, of course, there was more of the top-rate discussion we're all used to!
By the looks of it, it must be on for a 12 or 13 week run. I think it's been 8 weeks already, hasn't it?
Well Take the Mike which comes on afterwards was a semi-final last night, so there will only be two more episodes of that, so Turn on Terry may also finish at the same time.
Terry's rant at the start always seems to be a bit unusual, with weak gags where everyone just listens in silence!. I assume he writes it himself.
The 'Turn on Terry' branded beer made an appearance again!
The appearance of Anthony Wilson was a bonus as well, the show moves back to 12midnight in a fortnight
And remember "Turn on your TV, Click it on to number three, Got to watch this show, did you see this show, Pick up the remote lets go..."
Bring Back Thames, okay so they are sh*te compared to what they used to be but at least we would probably get some classic reapeats like minder & boon ,although minder was repeated in the summer of 2000 at around 2pm & got high viewing figure, Boon hasn't even been released on DVD yet
I managed to catch some of last night's Turn on Terry, I thought it was OK, not the best, but when he went on forever about the Church was getting rather boring, it went on too long. But it's nice to see Tony Wilson again, for the zillion-th time on there, they should make him a permanent fixture.
I know the show comes from Terry's (And Tony's) home town of Manchester but does anyone know whereit comes from? I know it comes from a bar in Central Manchester but thats it.
BTW Off topic, Turn On TV does make other programmes, there was a regional Forensics programme on at 11.00pm tonight which was a...
"A Turn on TV Production for Granada Television", so I assume that they are Northern based.

Turn on TV also made Granada Television's "The Real Coronation St". I have seen a lot of Turn on TV stuff on Granada TV. This is what it says on the first page of their web site:
"TURN ON TELEVISION is a vibrant company at the cutting edge of popular factual entertainment, documentary, music and children's programming. We have made programmes for Channel 4, Channel 5, Discovery Health, E4 and Granada Television."
So Yes, I knew I was right. It does do stuff with Granada Television. Their web adress is
http://www.turnontv.co.uk/
On their site it mentions stuff they have made:
- Tourist Police: 5 x half hour series for Channel 4 (TX Spring 2002)
- The Gym: 15 x half hour series for Discovery Health (TX Jan 2002)
- Midwives: 15 x half hour series for Discovery Health (TX Jan 2002)
- Special Delivery: 8 x half hour series for Granada (TX Jan 2002)
- When I Grow Up: 40 x 5 minute childrens series for Channel 5 (TX Dec 2001)
- Passport To Passion: 8 x half hour series for Channel 4 (TX July 2001)
- Post Modern Pastimes: 20 x ten minute series for Channel 4 Daytime (TX 2000-1)
- Bangkok Bound: 6 x half hour series for Channel 4 (TX June 2000)
- Bangkok Beats: 12 x half hour music series for Channel 4 (TX Jan 2000)
- Tranny School: 1 hour documentary for Channel 5 (TX Feb 2000)
Well at least it's on earlier tonight, I am watching it right now and Andrew, sorry you are wrong, there's no Anthony Wilson.
I enjoyed Take The Mike last week, I thought the guy who went on about the homeless selling The Big Issue, was quite funny. (Well there's nothing else on at 1.20am)
