What everyone seems to be forgetting though, Is during the bit when most people in the country will be watching (When they wake up in the morning), BBC One will still have Peter Snow and everything, whereas ITV will have a bit of election coverage from poor presenters without any virtual studios and then the latest showbiz gossip!
That set looks well impressive, ITN have put a huge effort into this election, and it's all just for one night. It must have caused loads of disruption at the ITN/ITV Network Centre building as it's been built in the central atrium. The virtual stuff looks great too. ITV should get ITN to turn this into their news studio. Everybody, watch ITV !!

And another good thing about ITN, is that they are inbiased.

It seems a shame that they have put so much effort into such a great studio for just one night. They should use it for the ITN Channel afterwards, after all, it is right in the heart of the ITN building!
I'm convinced that ITN will have a new studio soon, or at least a bit of a change to the current one. Maybe they will nick the Election one on Monday, after all, that is when their listings are due to change to include the name of the presenter and that.

That studio can only be temporary, due to Heath & Safety.
They had to get an extension to the approval from them, because it was ready for a May 3 poll
Having taken a closer look at that set though, it is the type of set you could only really use for one night anyway, they've got cameramen hanging over the edge of the balcony, and one on a huge crane. The amount of effort that has gone into this and the number of people involved must be vast. Let's hope it will be as good as it looks.
And another good thing about ITN, is that they are inbiased.
I thought it was unbiased! Anyway, a recent poll said 78% trusted the Beeb for impartiality while 74% for ITN, so there's really not that much in it (at least this time) Tomorrow will tell I suppose.
