ive heard tht sky have paid 3mil for exclusivity of it, but surely the bbc has the contract for all away games?

No - BBC have exclusive rights to the home games.

The away games are sold seperately by the country's football associations.

I wouldn't be surprised at the price Sky paid, and I did see them trail the games on Sky Sports News today ...

And I think a 'guest clause' has been added, which says no other broadcaster can show the game 'as live' straight after the final whistle.

Thank god sky have it live and exclusive. I can't bear to watch another match with the BBC as the only outlet. During the Macedonia game Motson spent most of it droaning on about what was going in the crowd, rather than on the pitch...

Much as I love Sky's football coverage, I much prefer watching the internationals on BBC1
