Wouldn't surprise me if it was Andi Peters...ITV seem to be giving him a lot of air time these days...
I'm going to the Name That Tune pilot on the 16th July. On the ticket there's no sign of the host. I reckon it's either going to be Philip Schofield or Vernon Kay or even Mulhern.

It would be nice to see them think outside the box a little. In channel 5's defence when they brought back Name That Tune in 1997/98, they took a different angle by giving it to Jools Holland and having the rhythm and blues orchestra play the tunes. With these commissions we may see more weekday evening quizzes on the main itv channel again. I think I'm correct in saying that a celebrity edition of the cube has the 9pm slot tonight.

It will probably be Schofield, he's a programme down now Dancing on Ice is over.

It's been nice to have him back on TV. I preferred him doing the showbiz stuff on Good Morning Britain the other week.
I'll report back and spill the beans after the show.

If so, that's an odd choice.

Not really, if you know anything about Bill bailey you would understand it was decent choice.

A musical comedian who often appears on panel shows. Unexpected, but actually a pretty inspired booking, I can't think of anybody more appropriate.

Not for what is probably going to be a primetime entertainment show on ITV.

Well why not ? Good to see them thinking out of the box rather than the usual rotation of Kay, Schofield, McGuinness, Mulhern.

No, actually that is a very good choice of host. A very funny comedian who bases most of his act around music. A far better choice than playing it safe with any one ITV's usual rota of light entertainment presenters, Schofield, Kay, Mulhern ... etc.
