The rumour mill suggests that the 2005 season of the show might well be the last. With Dick & Dom's 2005/6 series being the last, a return to a more standard Saturday Morning format might be in the pipeline. Watch this space!
Thast says nothing. Their assumption is that because the other show is going, the other must be as well in order for a Saturday reamp. IMO all these kids shows are crap nowadays - they ain't what they used to be!

But its what kids want nowadays. I doubt they'd watch go in for big name interviews, like Going Live and Live & Kicking did. Look at this series of the Saturday Show, it's been a great show without having to rely on guests.
I personally think that they should just move TSS to London next September, though it would be wierd as it would be a BBC Scotland version going South.
I must say from the few eps that I have seen, this series has been great. They looked at the mistakes that they made last year and changed it totally, to become a simple entertaining programme.
It's just a shame that they weren't given the full 3 hours for the summer!
And what a great way to end the series as they wouldn't be on for Christmas, to have a Christmas special.
I loved how well they did it, to the extent of graphics, music, set and features. What a great way to end the series, and even if it doesn't continue instead of Dick & Dom, surely it should return next summer.
If it comes back next year i think they should give it some titles, make it longer and have it on at Christmas!
I wouldn't mind if they moved it to the Autumn/Winter actually.Or maybe when D&D ends they could extend it to January. But then the other show would just be 2 or 3 months long!
BTW,has anyone got the 2001 and 2002 christmas titles? I don't think i've ever seen them and i don't know what they did to the titles.
How did they do that open yesterday? Maybe they recorded that bit when Simon,Jake and Angellica were in the studio with it not decorated. But how do you explain the audience being there? Did they film it after last weeks show before the audience went and then decorate the studio?

That was the only thing that I could think of, that they recorded it either last week or at some point before they decorated it, and they put some effort into the set decoration. It was very strange, yet very entertaining.
I presume if they will keep it, that they will either have another programme on through the summer and then have TSS relaunch (again) in London, and go back to all year round, they could have TSS as a summer fill in constantly and then launch a new show in September, or simply carry on the programme from April, except move it to London, with possibly a new set, etc.
The only thing is that if they moved it to London, the producers should really stay with it to keep it similar, else you'd get the old Live & Kicking/TSS thing of the show virtually changing when it went to Scotland for the summer.
I'm actually surprised that they haven't launched something on the CBBC channel (like they did with Dick & Dom), in hope of being able to transfer that to BBC One.
Though the best plan, especially following this series would be to carry on the show straight through with Simon, Jake & Angellica.
Fanoftv, what saturday morning shows have you actually got? I know you've got quite a few SM:tv's and a TSS from 2003.
And i would like the TSS Christmas 01/02 titles!
The Christmas 2001 titles were the same as always, except the logo faded to black and white at the end, as they opened with a Sketch based on some old film like It's A Wonderful Life or something. They didn't even add any jingles or snow effects. They weren't as festive as Live & Kicking's festive titles (until 2000), and the Saturday Show 02 titles (with some serious high pitch ness going on), and not even as festive as the music used on last Saturday's Saturday Show Christmas Special!
