Latest from Kapang's Facebook page: "Although they are pretty much broke and bankrupt we are keeping Vintage TV on-air via our platform at http://kapang.com/vintagetv/"
Very interesting that Kapang / ViewTV are willing to be so candid while Vintage have basically operated on half-truths and radio silence for the last couple of months. More interesting still that they're keeping them on air. (Where does the feed originate from and who's operating it if Vintage are "broke and bankrupt"?) Maybe there's a slim possibility of Vintage returning, and ViewTV are keeping the feed going to maintain continuity in case they recover. Could they be holding out for some kind of buyout from someone who will take on Vintage's debts and be able pay them?

Why are there two streams? I presume the one with the CAUTION label is the real channel and the Vintage Non-Stop channel is their own incarnation?

That's what I'm guessing. They did say they were trying to get the rights to Vintage's catalogue, probably the rights to show old music videos are easier to secure than the rights to Vintage's original programming.

When Vintage TV briefly popped up on DSat the other day, was it the original version or the "new" jukebox one?

I wonder how this will affect Vintage TV Canada (if it hasn't already). Vintage Entertainment Limited, who operated Vintage TV UK, are the largest shareholder in Vintage TV Canada, with a shareholding of 33%, with twice as many shares as the other 4 shareholders.
Maybe Vintage TV Canada and its 4 other shareholders (who currently licence the name and programming from Vintage Entertainment Ltd), will end up buying out Vintage Entertainment Ltd, together with the programming, and then licence the name and programming back to Kapang in the UK.

Vintage Entertainment Ltd are (or were) the owners of Vintage TV.
View TV Group are the owners of Kapang, who run the Vintage TV online channel. They posted on Facebook a few days ago saying that Vintage TV hadn't paid their bills and were effectively bankrupt, and were hoping to purchase their back catalogue, but in the meantime have set up a Vintage TV online jukebox channel, which is exactly the same as the official Vintage TV online channel, but without the on-screen "caution" message.
Did someone say here that View TV Group are the owners? Aren’t they the same people who rebranded Star Radio NE as the rather crap ‘Rathergood Radio’ and then got in hot water and pulled off air for not paying their transmission fees to Arquiva? If so, it would certainly seem that they have form
