John Yorke did know what he was doing, but I doubt even he could save this pathetic programme now.

The Rob/Dawn/May baby saga i do like, i just hope that May does not crumble away, she makes me laugh the way she ordered Rob around, if Rob is leaving in May - where will it leave May!

Also with Dot finding that baby tonight, is this paving the way for May to adopt Baby Tomas?

Shouldn't you be in the general thread? We don't care what you like about the show, because you have a minority view. These threads were seperately created so people who have been fans of the show for years but think it's gone badly downhill now can vent their frustrations, whereas people who still adore the show in it's utterly abysmal state can gush over it elsewhere.

Well said.

Indeed, well said. Onetrick, by all means you can regurgitate the ''General Thread'' for Eastenders, where yourself and Banks can cream yourselves to death over Ian Beale etc...

Apprently, in addition to a random baby that makes a ''religious'' apparaition in a church, Dot ALSO takes in an illegal immigrant. WHAT-IS-DIERDICK-SANTER-AND-HIS-''TEAM''-THINKING?
The scriptwriting is an insult to June Brown.

Diederick Santer? Sounds like my ex-girlfriend's dad, the one who was an avid reader of 'The Guardian'.

Back to Dot Cotton, and what are they doing with this character? First she adopts a baby she finds in a church, then takes in an illegal immigrant? The whispy chinned old bitch.

Oih, as much as I hate EE I think it's a bit far to call Dot Cotton that.

Why? She's only a fictional character of a boring show. It's not like I'm calling Her Majesty it, or worse still, Gloria Hunniford.

Should have replied to this the other day...

I thought you meant June Brown herself, sorry Embarassed Very Happy

Also when I used to watch it back in 2001/2 Dot Cotton & Jim Branning, along with Patrick Trueman used to be the "comedic" characters of EE, now even they have had all the humour sucked out of them

I think that sums it right - these forums are for people to air their views - but im not because im disliked here, always have been and always will be. I could slate EE to the max and id still be told to get on my bike.

The post i made should have been in the general thread i admit that, but there is no need to be rude is there? As for Ian Beale ive never really liked the character anyway.

Edit : I am a lost cause, if thats the right word

Speaking of which, what on EARTH was going on in tonight's RIDICULOUS melodrama? I turned on at the beginning and I honestly had no clue what was happening. I felt as though I were watching a Mexican telenovela, I mean even that would have come across less complicated than EastEnders.

I think the only way EastEnders would make any sense to most viewers nowadays is if you had consumed ten cans of Tennants Super beforehand Laughing

Spot on, I'm guessing that's what the cast members consume for breakfast to make it through their day? And Elaine Lordon was sacked for turning up drunk???

Century Digital always use to play that song, shame they closed down to make way for Jazz radio or whatever it is.

Are the creators of EastEnders still alive today? I wonder what they make of EE at the moment
