Wasn't there someone else too - they'd lived on the square for years but hadn't been mentioned at all till they died!
That DS article sums it all up - they say they'll be two ending - death/no death - with producers saying viewers will be left on the edge of the seat waiting for the outcome - before categorically denying Adam is leaving!

But if it's like the fairground disaster which saw one death (an unborn baby) then they might as well not bother.

All i can say is if it means the slow and painful death of several characters then bring it on.

The fairground disaster being the most worst point of the downfall of this soap. I couldn't believe how badly that was carried out! You could almost see the stunt men pushing the fairground rides over. I think they said at the time, that was meant to be the biggest stunt the soap has ever scene. The mind boggles...it really does!
I'll only be left on the edge of my seat when a huge bomb drops on the square and kills off all the characters....in fact, thats probably in the pipeline...oh dear i've ruined it already.
Alternatively, get Jeremy Beadle in to do that alien stunt from Beadles About - only the alien is Pauline Fowler and Dot going "ooh would you like a cup of tea"

So let me get this straight. EastEnders are doing a big stunt, spending lots of money and everything, but there's not ONE character from this dreadful cast who dies?! Not even the annoying Deano, lanky Chelsea, or gormy Bradley?
EastEnders, for the 17,000th time, you've let me down

Don't the BBC realise that the audience does not warm to ''dull and ordinary'' families like the Wicks or the Fox family. They're just so plain it's unreal. If only they could be a little more imaginative about their storylines and characters. This is where they have done well, in the Stella storyline. EastEnders should try to tackel more gritty, real life issues, which is where they are commendable for Bert's glaucoma storyline. We just DON'T want some seedy love triangle with a baby; it's far too cliched for a soap and bores us.

Well not everyone finds it boring, you and some others find it boring - unless you speak on everyones behalf.
I do agree that the Stella storyline is good, and everyone (well from forums ect) do seem to be talking about it.

Ah right i thought were talking about everyone who watches EastEnders. I don't find it painfully boring, i would stop watching if i did - i don't like the Max/Stacy affair, Max and Tanya would have made great by themselves - the affair is pants in my opinion.
The Rob/Dawn/May baby saga i do like, i just hope that May does not crumble away, she makes me laugh the way she ordered Rob around, if Rob is leaving in May - where will it leave May!
Also with Dot finding that baby tonight, is this paving the way for May to adopt Baby Tomas?

I say bring back John Yorke - he was the last Executive Producer who seemed to know what he was doing
PA
John Yorke did know what he was doing, but I doubt even he could save this pathetic programme now.
Shouldn't you be in the general thread? We don't care what you like about the show, because you have a minority view. These threads were seperately created so people who have been fans of the show for years but think it's gone badly downhill now can vent their frustrations, whereas people who still adore the show in it's utterly abysmal state can gush over it elsewhere.
