I don't watch it, but people at work were yesterday saying EastEnders is actually quite good at the moment.
I was watching Coronation Street up to a few weeks ago; I lost interest.

I haven't watched EastEnders since the Easter holidays due to it being nice weather and all that plus unlike others i can stay away from tv even if i love it or hate.

But i was watching Gmtv the other day and even Tina and Lorraine Kelly both said EastEnders is now on top form,So Today i started to watch it and still enjoyed it

No, I'll correct that, you're bored again and thought you'd wind up other members of TV Forum who have a biased view against EastEnders. Rolling Eyes And I thought you'd finally gone.

And shows a lot about what Tina and Lorraine know.. has she actually been watching EastEnders? To me, she normally just quotes things from other sources anyway.

And I am in an appropriate thread so there's no squabbles now sunshine.

Well, that episode was good, but the bit at the end with Lucy hearing Phil just made it look daft Rolling Eyes

I agree, I liked its dramatic, spooky feel to that clip though. The style of the clip was really cool. Best episode in ages.

that was a good episode, liked the 'telepathetic twin' thing at the end, funny that she never got any vibes when Peter was abducted with Steven back in 1990 er, whenever it was. Didn't Phil help Ian out that time as well, if he did then Ian has no gratitude and a very short memory.

why didn't the boys open the sunroof when they were trapped in the car?

One of the problems with EastEnders is that all the characters are always just a new version of a previous character

I've just seen the trailer featuring Lacey Turner going on about how she's not going to be messed about or whatever, she's just the latest in a long like of similar characters. We've seen this sort of thing before

4m viewers, my how ratings have tumbled. This show doesn't seem to be picking up well at all no matter how much they promote it. At least channel 4 had sense to kill off Brookside within 2 years, how long has this decline been going on for, since Martin Kemp left all those years ago.

I agree. Emmerdale had Katherine Jenkins, Tom King's murderer being revealed, and a much loved character, in the name of Len, dying. EastEnders, meanwhile, had Stacey/Max doing their fling, Scribble and whatsitface getting together, and a car rolling over.

Any wonder why Emmerdale beat EastEnders by more than double the viewing figures?

PS. Did anyone notice the droplets of water on the camera of last night's EastEnders? Just a thought.
