What, you kept watching, even though MO HARRIS came on screen before Ian?! LoL.
No I turned on, that good looking but thick bird with the long brown hair was in the cafe then it cut to Ian being a smug f*cker as usual so I turned it off

I have to agree about Ian, he sudden departure from Enders would be a god send.
Right, I've watched Enders from the start. Back then it was a rather gritty yet deeply entertaining soap. Like most soaps it's had its ups and down but in the last few years it has been a shadow of its formal self. Poor scriptwriting, poor directing, poor continuity and that extra episode on a Friday have all taken their toil.
Now I have to agree with the comments in regards to the soap turning yet another corner and a small but very slow improvement is being made. However there is a hell of lot more that needs to be done for it regain its former glory.
One thing for sure is that Enders does NOT need to be axed. I would love to see every reality TV show from Big Brother downwards scrapped but sadly that's not going to happen either.
I think British soap in general has suffered a severe dose of over exposure in the past few years. None of them need to be on as constantly as they are.

Probably paper talk - but knowing EastEnders being so out of touch with reality, it's probably true:

Basically, planning to defy the smoking ban and saying they don't care about the law - or any fines (paid by the licencee fee payer) if they occur!
