It makes perfect sense. As far as only a few months back EE continued to have big ratings due to people watching I can only presume out of habit. These promos suggest that now... perhaps ratings have dropped - which in my opinion is a good thing because the show is utter tripe and shows people realise the current poor nature of it.

EastEnders has fallen from an average of 10.8 million last year, to 9.6 million this year - and I think the average may been even lower now because that's taking into account the first three months of the year. Corrie has averaged 10.5 million viewers. Not sure what it averaged last year but its audience share has remained pretty stable since last year, whereas EastEnders has shed a hefty 17%.

Haven't seen you in a while.
I'm getting this information from Broadcast and when they reported Corrie's average viewing figures for this year, they didn't give its figures for last year. I've got all this information from three different articles - one which states EastEnders average audience from 2006 and 2007, one which states Coronation Street's average audience for this year only, and one which gives the audience shares for all the soaps so far this year.
Here:

(interesting to note that Hollyoaks was the only soap to see a rise of 5%)

If you can't view them then that's your problem not mine. I don't see why I need to justify myself to you of all people - but I don't want you thinking I'm making it all up.

EXACTLY. They're the same person, it's clear as day. And WHY did they have to re-emerge from the woodwork?

Does anyone know if the whole Dot Baby storyline will end, it has to be one of the most outrageous and silly storylines to date.

You may be wrong, only onetrickpony appears on Metropol on a regular basis. I don't think I've ever seen Banksoriginal on Metropol, although I could be wrong

My point proven exactly - b-boom. Why would they both need metropol accounts.
