Does anyone else think EastEnders has recently become very seedy and rude? I found it very awkward when they were talking about adolescence at length yesterday and I was shocked that they would discuss masturbation on a 7.30pm show...The other day, the soap also threw in the word ''ladybottom'' and there have been numerous instances where homosexuality has been denounced e.g. Mickey, and more recently Pat's immitation of Deano because he wants to keep fit. I find the soap bhas become far too sex-obsessed, by the over-use of Kevin and Max Branning.
You make that sound as if it is a good thing, because it is not. The soap is awful. In tonight's episode, we had a RIDICULOUS exchange between Phil and Ben, where there was an unlikely misunderrstanding. Yes, we misunderstand things, but to mix up puberty with domestic violence is just stupid.
