Programme is looking good - preview show is on at the moment. Graphics and titles are really nice, very modern and funky. Dave seems like an excellent choice as host, he's very funny and I really like him. This show is being presented from a white studio with a plasma - obviously this won't be the studio they use, although I think there will be a lot of white, as it just looks right.
I've had my doubts but I really think they can pull this off. All of the MTV family of channels are getting spin-off shows, where they play the songs they want viewers to nominate for the TRL chart. Let's hope they're prepared to keep at it with this show as I think it could either make or break MTV UK.

It aint gonna happen - things tend to move forward in life, not back.
I have to agree with him there, it seems that all the people like Richard Blackwood, Cat Deeley, Edith Bowman, June Sarpong, Donna Air, Trevor Nelson and co are long gone and they probably won't be coming back either. Though Zane Lowe presented MTV in good days, he is still there, but he is on MTV2's Gonzo, where he seems to be on his tod.
Though from what I have seen they have put alot of effort into TRL and Dave Berry isn't a bad choice, plus out of the whole lot Dave Berry is probably the only one with the most experience. (He used to do alot of IVC on Nickelodeon)

Just to add - the Leicester Square studio obviously isn't ready as the show will be coming from the Camden Town studios. The TRL website is now live, however, at www.mtv.co.uk/trl - looks good, I hope the studio isn't disappointing.
