Quite like the use of outdoor area and inside studio.

Good new changing logo in the bottom right. Graphics are good; Dave seems a bit nervous and a bit high pitched; though it is the first show!

The graphics and bug thing are very American, and good. I'll have to give Dave Berry a few days before making judgement - he sounds like a 10 year old who's drunk too much Coke at the moment. I think the studio (as opposed to the city background they had hoped for) isn't particularly amazing. On the whole, good.

I think they have done a good job with the studio seems as though they were planning to broadcast from leicester square; and hopefully they will have permission to shortly.

This is what MTV should be like; you get the music, you get the guests; u have an audience and its different from all other music channels that just show constant music videos and an alternative to all the non music related programmes that MTV UK have been broadcasting as off late.

And by the way; TRL is Total Request Live; viewers vote 24/7 to create a daily top 10 chart; this is revealed through each show along guests and bands performing. I still dont like the idea of blazin squad being first guests on, thank goodness the foo fighters are also there!

I thought it was excellent, and even my music-hating dad liked it. I was prepared for a really crap show from a tiny broom cupboard, but I was pleasantly surprised. I just hope they keep it up!

As long as they can attract the guests it'll keep working. Todays guests (minus blazin squad - not my taste!) were great getting the foos on; though the MTV brand may have helped!

As long as they can keep up the good quality of the show; keep good guests on; and keep promoting; perhaps some billboards or non mtv channel advertising could help.

Now all they need is to sort out the rest of the channel; if this is how MTV UK can do Live TV and unique British shows; I'd like to see more of it! Well done to all who work on it!

I also like the fact that the actual show has only one dog that animates instead of the two that all channels have been carrying for the past week

MTV have been advertising TRL on other Digital channel. Think it was Sky One where I saw one of them.

I thought it looked very english, very original but didnt like how they showed 30 seconds of videos, but I dont care, I was watching MTV|2 whilst the pop was playing. (they played placebo ) Like the design.

I'm waiting to hear from Jay about this.

Did anyone flick to MTV|2 during TRL. they showed TRL: NOT where we try to get rock vids into the TRL chart. Theyre now showing Foo's live on TRL, i think.

But there design began to look stale.

The TRL Tomb Raider thing was quite watchable too, bearing in mind the **** MTV have been churning out in recent years.
