Why don't they use this ikkle round-the-corner-of-the-studio studio more often - looks much better than the main part of N24!

TOTP2 clip used for the run-up to the hour! How often does that happen on N24!?

On a note about the programme itself... there seems to be a load of clunking going on during the studio items - is Jane Hill falling off her chair a lot?! Smile

Oh and I've just noticed this is my 1000th post...

Nice, well put together programme, worked well with Matthew and Jane presenting. Really good selection of guests so far too.

As Steve says, shame someone seemed to be trying to demolish the set in the background at the time.

I've just realised its an hour long as well.. runs till 4.30pm

Nice to see News 24 doing something like this (i.e. entertainment/factual rather than just news). It always amases me how quickly they can turn this stuff around and arrange for everyone to take part.

All that chair-bouncing has finally taken its toll it seems!! Poor Jane!

Congrats on your 1000th post .. now you have to work out how many posts were useful, and how many were b*****ks!! j/k Wink

Peter Sissons was probably already in the building: Is he doing the 10 tonight? If so that's probably why he was on first so they can wait for other guests to arrive and be prepped (and warned never to sit on a chair after Jane Hill has!).

BBC1 have a half hour special scheduled from 7-7.30pm - will be interesting to see what format that takes... would be nice if it was an edited down version of this but somehow I can't see them doing that.

As long as David Dimbleby isn't presenting it....

This is beginning to get more complicated than 2000 Today..

We've had OBs from

Liverpool,
Abbey Road,
school in London,
Strawberry fields in America,
Manchester (top of the pops awards)

Contributions from Millbank and two other remote studios,
Peter Sissons, Rosie Millard..

Incredible programme..
