Saw a bit of this on E4 the other night Robert Lindsay (AKA Ben from My Family) plays Tony Blair to a tee, it is fantastic acting from him.
Dont you mean More4? From what ive seen on the trails it looked really good but ive kept missing it Hopefully, it will probably be repeated on More4 again soon
Some lovely bits when things he did come back to haunt him, like having to have your DNA taken when you're arrested; and the blood and excreta on the walls of the casualty department because he didn't give the NHS enough money for cleaners.
However brilliantly artistic the ending was, I found that the ending was very unclosed. I wanted to see him on trial. They should have done the evidence, or at least thirty seconds of 'scenes' from a trial, with lawyers gesturing, Antony looking worried, over some music, I don't know, the one ColdPlay did, witht he reversed video, and then:
"Do you find the defendant guilty or not guilty?";
Then the jurer opens his mouth, then the credits. Ahh, the aeroplane taking him to the Hague just seemed like an unclosed ending!

Argeed, should have been more of an ending, I'd go with your idea. I loved it I don't think it happen like that at all in reality, but a great of bit of thinking from the writers.
However, the only reason I was expecting a trial at the end was because of the title. Perhaps the bigger problem was a misleading title?
After all, the whole thing centred around the question of whether or not he'd be sent to The Hague for trial. I hate to side with Mr Del Monte and his over-use of punctuation, but have to say that the title could have been made less misleading (and a lot funnier) had they added a question mark to the end of it.
