Quick question, excuse the use of the forum

Do these have tellbacks to Arqiva, why? Last night at this time all were on on the Redruth mast, tonight it looks as if they or their switching circuitry might have failed. The mast is dark.

Is it worth a call to someone, and if so who?

Danger now indicated, AWLs are now on, somewhat later than last night. Maybe switched on via a timer at 2030.

I didn't know AWLs had timers... I thought they were on permanently in case of things like fog etc.

Yes, the ones at Hannington seem to be.

DVB Cornwall, it might be prudent to ring RAF Culdrose, I'm sure they will have the means to get it sorted, if they haven't noticed themselves yet ! ?

Usually when I nip to my girlfriend's house you can see Winter Hill from her village, and at night the red lights are pretty damn clear, although some nights you don't see them at all, I thought this was usually due to how cloudy it is, but interestingly not....

Will observe tomorrow evening, if the Switch On appears late, I'll give Arqiva a call then. (It's RNAS Culdrose incidentally - oft confused though)

Maybe they've borrowed the lights to put onto Crystal Palace in a couple of weeks Very Happy

The AWLs appeared to be late switching on again tonight, It was quite dark when they kicked into action. Will give Arqiva a call in the morning to advise my concern and ask that it be recorded by them. They can't deny knowledge then in the, admittedly unlikely, event of any incident.

Edit ... 5th April .... Reported and ensured was noted. Seemed grateful.
