Toys 'R' Us Advert Lives!

Good News Everyone (especially for Billy Hicks) - The Toys 'R' Us Ad Lives!!!!!

Carlton (Central East) showed it tonight during the first ad break in Cold Feat.  The animation has changed but the song is still played (minus the middle bit - for the products).  Unfortunately one important person is missing, yep you've guessed it - Geoffry.   They still sing about him, but the song doesnt make that much sense with out him being on the advert.

Nevertheless, it made me sing along (much to the dismay of my housemates!!)

Altogether now...

There's Millions say's Geoffry, all under one roof;
it's called Toys R Us, Toys R Us, Toys R Us, Toys R Us.

Talking of adverts, I hate the Ocean Finance ad - you know the one, set up like a quiz show! Urgh, so cheesy!!!

To add insult to injury, one of my girly's friends is in it!

I complained to the ITC about the Ocean Finance and The Loan Company adverts. I am on a crusade to rid TV of this pathetic advertising.

My point was that both The Loan Company and Ocean Finance produced exactly the same advert but with different graphics on-screen. I have an example if anyone is bored enough to want to see it.

geoffry is still alive as i saw him (or someone dressed as him) open the new york stock exchange on world business report a while ago - maybe toys r us UK dont use him, but US do?

Oh come on. I KNOW this advert exists,the whole point of my last post was about it (Asa's deleted the forum messege back to 5 days) and you've carryed on.

This has happened 3 times today-'Billy,I saw that Coca-cola ad you said went today on Meridian!' 'Reallly?!?' 'Yep.with the boy and dad that's been going for years' 'Oh pffff,the music changed in 2000-that's not the old one!'

'Billy,the Toys R Us advert EXISTS! I saw it on Channel 5 today with the old music!' 'Old cartoon animation?' 'Nope' 'Well that's the same dang one the've brought in this year' 'Ah'

I can getting absoloutly sick of this-Sorry,I'm in a very bad mood of this post leading me on a wild goose chase.

If anyone here actually understood what the hell Billy is on about, please let me know!
