Do you think that TOP2 could come back, although with a new name, it was a grate show!

It might be useful it bring it back, although the finishing TOP, there do have a Hugh back catalogue of great music clips

Yes I heard TOTP2 will be back on BBC2 again. Not sure if they will be playing the Hugh Back catalogue though! Wink

From dictionary.com:

Grate To reduce to fragments, shreds, or powder by rubbing against an abrasive surface.

Great Very good; first-rate

From chatting to various people yesterday, involved with the final TOTP, I don't think TOTP2 is coming back as a regular weekly show.

I think we will, just as now, see the odd "specials" (I think the last TOTP2 special was a tie in with the World Cup recently)...

However, there is a "best of" TOTP 2006 being shown around "the end of the year" - maybe in a TOTP2 style.......

If it does come back, I hope it dispenses with Steve Wright as "writer" and presenter and stops relying on showing the same performances year in, year out.

It's come to the point where I no longer watch TOTP2 specials because I already know which songs will be featured, especially at Christmas...

I agree, it did get a bit samey after a while. After 40+ years of TOTP, you would have thought 'Roland' Wright would have found a wider selection of clips!! Steve Wright was a good TOTP2 as he is a Radio 2 presenter Laughing

Get Mark Radcliffe to do it, that's what I say. He used to be a good TOTP2 stand-in presenter.
