I don't really think the current logo is old fashioned



Actually the years are as follows...

The Current Logo came in around June 1998
The 70s Logo was used from around 1972 until 1986
90s Logo first appeared in Feb 95 and stayed until the current one
Logo from the 80s appeared in 1986 but vanished at the end of 88, this was replaced by another one (Jan 89-Sept 91) that is not listed above (although TV-ark should have this really soon as I have sent them this to upload)
The 90s logo (Which I always thought was terrible) ran from TOTPs move to Elstree in October 91 and used for the final time in Feb 95.

The theme tunes that went with these were:-
70s logo - Whole Lotta Love (CSS), Yellow Pearl (Phil Lynott)
80s logo - The Wizard (Paul Hardcastle)
80s logo (not shown) - The Wizard (Paul Hardcastle)
90s logo (91-95) - Now get out of that (Tony Gibber)
90s Logo (95-9Cool - Red Hot Pop (Vince Clarke)
Current Logo - Whole Lotta Love (Bad man bad, Led Zepplin)

Quite right. I agree with that wholeheartedly. As technology moves on, changes should be more technological, not less.

they should have a two-platform stage.


So a stage, which has another stage above it.


Then a band could play the music at the top, and the main singers at the bottom, or maybe they would like to split into 2 and peform on the 2 stages.

I'd like to see the stage in the centre of the studio, with the people all around it. I find it focuses attention more and makes better use of space.

I'd like it to go back to how it was in the 80s with Balloons, Flags, hats etc and lighting that you could actually see the crowd with!
