I didn't even notice!! She has got the most annoying voice, though... It was much better when Margherita Taylor took over for a bit. I hope they get someone else to do the voiceovers for the channel change.

It is kind of a relaunch - in that the format will be changed, to include vintage performances as well as the top 40. The presenters will be different, it will be longer, and it will be at a different time and on a different channel. People could be forgiven for thinking there may be further changes. Having said that, people who have bothered reading this thread (it's not hard, being only 2 pages) should really understand by now that there will be no logo, music, or set changes...

Also with CD:UK seemingly appearing more often on Sunday mornings than Saturdays, suddenly all the main TV music shows are broadcast on Sundays!

Reading that press release, there's one line which seems a bit odd -
"the cast of Hollywood blockbuster Fantastic Four pay Top Of The Pops a visit."

So it seems the revamped line up will include non-music related items as well...bad idea IMHO. If I remember correctly they've tried to include more "showbiz"-related items before, but it never seemed to work. I have a feeling the vintage performances will get fewer and fewer, too.

I suppose its a bit like what they did to the first 30 minutes of the Radio 1 Chart Show with JK & Joel, having a fairly non-music bit included
