It seems to me, stevek, what with your comments about why 'we' gave into the aliens and why Jack gave up his grandson, that you weren't watching it very closely.

So can anyone confirm whether there will be another series of Torchwood? The ending did seem to be a "it could come back, but then again it might not".

From what I heard, RTD said he was preparing Series 4 but the BBC will make the decision, depending on how CoE went.

Well judging by the CoE ratings I'm sure they'll want S4 - unless they take a "Fawlty Towers" type decision.

Don't forget Jack is going to be in Doctor Who at Christmas, so it may be this is how they get him to the Doctor - a la Series 1 of Torchwood with Jack running off to the Tardis.

Not to be rude littlesmegger, btu I am capable of reading the thread Laughing I was just seeing if anyone had any confirmation

And if Jack's going to be in the Christmas Doctor Who, maybe that will signal the return of Torchwood.

I watched it close enough, just didn't like the way it ended

Was the hospital set used in the first episode that of Casualty's? I'm certain it is.

Indeed it was, alongside the shows regular filming blocks in Cardiff, this series was also shot in London (obviously) and some parts in Bristol - hence the Casualty set.

Thanks for that - was quite surreal seeing Torchwood in that familiar environment.

we've had Red Dwarf on Corry so why not Torchwood in Casualty

guess if you have the permanent Casualty set in Bristol it's cheaper to nip across the Severn Bridge and use that than build a new set in Cardiff for what amounted to a few small scenes
