I'm going to watch most definitely to see what its about. But I never was a fan of Captain Jacks character in Doctor Who, and personally don't think he could hold his own series, but we shall see!

You have to admit though, they really are stretching Doctor Who to its limit. In this fad based world, I foresee people getting bored of Doctor Who very quickly at this rate. I mean we've got Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Investigates and soon that K9 Cartoon. As well as the many books, audios and whatever, when will it end!! WHEN!? Laughing

What harm can giving it a go do? Yeah I'll give it a shot; I'll let TiVo take care of the brain-work. Now, what date is it on...?

They are saying its starts on October 21st ar 9:00, on BBC3.

There are rumors that episode 1 will be simlecast on BBC1 & 3.
Episode 2 will follow on BBC3 and will be on BBC1 the week after.

Actually I'd look out for Sunday October 22nd for a BBC Three only premiere.

There are also rumours that the series will air on BBC HD as well as BBC Three, as unlike Dr Who (which would be prohibitively expensive in SFX / CGI terms), Torchwood is being shot and edited in HD.
